Ambassadors

Love meeting new people?  Love to attend fairs? Want to help make decisions regarding school events?  Love to create videos and find yourself always taking photos?

Then the Ambassadors Club is for YOU!

We are looking for students and parents who are interested in representing their school on the Ambassadors team.  This group will represent Provost Academy Colorado at community events, welcome new families, and help promote the school through different media resources.

Please email Lisa Garcia if you are interested.

Exploring Club

Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14-20. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields. You get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular career field is right for you. You develop valuable networking contacts with professionals working in your selected career fields, and you get to know other teenagers and young adults sharing your same interests and aspirations. Exploring can be the first step in identifying career possibilities while having fun in an exciting and informal environment.

To learn more visit http://exploring.learningforlife.org/

You can also begin by taking an online career interest surveys that is free. That information is then used to invite students to the Exploring posts that best fits their interests.

National Honor Society

National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization that was established in 1921 to recognize outstanding high school students.  Student members of NHS have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.  There are an estimated one million members in NHS in all 50 states, as well as other US territories and Canada.  We are thrilled to get our NHS chapter up and running this spring.

If you would like to read more about NHS, please visit www.nhs.us.

We will begin to contact students who have the Scholarship requirement (3.0) in the next couple of weeks.  Parents and students will then be asked to attend an online information session and then students will fill out an application in which they describe their Leadership, Service, and Character in order to be chosen to be inducted with our first class this spring.

If you are interested in being considered for NHS or have more questions, please contact:
