Service Learning Projects: Students Making a Difference

Provost Academy Service Learning Project

Provost Academy Colorado is capitalizing on the opportunities of having a STEM-focused curriculum, a civic-minded community, and a flexible learning environment to bring its students closer to the global issues they will soon face.  By engaging students in the design, development, marketing, implementation, and impact analysis of their own events, Provost Academy is creating an environment where students not only participate in service, they are owning it.  Provost Academy Colorado staff and student leaders work together with organizations and businesses designing and implementing solutions to problems that exist in local, national, or global communities.
